- Wild Coffee Bar – On the 7th Street Industrial Area, is a perfect place to chill and hang out. The Bar attracts quite several people from various backgrounds, all of who come for a good coffee, live band, soetry performance, and a lot more activities. Even though the place would ideally be a coffee shop, it also deals in cocktails, food, and fun! From Poetry/soetry performances on Monday evenings, paint & chill Sundays, and Vanessa and the Band. - The Uganda National Cultural Centre / National Theatre Kampala – Established in 1957 and regarded as the home of cultures in Uganda, the National Theatre hosts a series of activities including performances such as Stage plays covering different themes, conferences, film festivals, arts festivals, and exhibitions, public lectures, to mention but a few. The auditorium is open for rent/hire by individuals or entities, and also hosts weekly activities like Film Club Sessions, Rotaract Club meetings, Dance Classes, and movie Nights. - Circular Design Hub – The Circular Design Hub is a creative workspace whose focus is on circular innovations and the expansion of the creative sector. Located on 5th Street Industrial Area Kampala, the place is home to office and work spaces of start-ups and, as well hosts a variety of artistic activities including Film premiers and festivals, Art, Music & Culture Exhibitions, poetry sessions, and other community events. - Ndere Cultural Centre – The Ndere Cultural Centre is a cornerstone in the preservation of Uganda’s culture, and celebrating cultural heritage. Established in 1984 as a cultural organization for universal unity through music, dance, and drama, the Ndere Troupe entertains and educates people through music, dance, and drama. The Troupe’s home is located at Plot 4505 Kira Rd, Ntinda – Kisaasi Rd, Kampala, and hosts several activities weekly. Perks at Ndere include African Dance, Accommodation, Local Cuisines, Events Hosting, Souvenirs, and Diverse Cultures, and the place is also home to other leading organizations in the performing Arts Sector. - Goethe Zentrum – The Uganda-German Cultural Society ‘Goethe Zentrum’ Kampala, supports cultural programs, aiming to support Uganda-German relationships, building a platform for intercultural dialogue. - MCI Media Hub – ‘The Media Challenge Initiative (MCI) is a not-for-profit building the next generation of journalists, storytellers & leaders in Uganda and Africa’. 10. The Uganda Museum – Founded in 1908 after Governor George Wilson called for ‘all articles of interest’ on Uganda to be procured, the Uganda Museum displays, exhibits, and is home to ethnological, natural, historical, and traditional life collections of culture and Ugandan heritage.
